The case work is poplar with a Sitka Spruce soundboard. The keyboard is bone, walnut, or rosewood  with black hardwood sharps. A reversed keyboard with ebony naturals and bone tipped  sharps is standard. Options include a Bone keyboard - Flemish papers with Latin motto -  Soundboard and wrestplank  fully decorated and painted in the Flemish style -  The case may be banded with gold leaf which surrounds faux-marbled panels. The instrument and bench are hand painted with enamel and hand rubbed varnish. The matching bench is  decorated to match the case. The instrument rests on a trestle stand, an optional full turned, six or eight legged stand, or a 10 legged baluster stand.
